The Lichfield Pantry Café is located at the Plant Plot Garden Centre in Lichfield, alongside over 20 other independent businesses.
The café boasts indoor seating for up to 45 guests and can seat up to 45 more on the outside decking area.
The café is open daily from 9am (9.30am on Sundays)
We serve breakfast and lunch plus a range of home made cakes and scones throughout the day. We also serve our freshly ground Shropshire coffee, a range of loose leaf teas and cold drinks.
All of our food including scones and cakes are made here on site daily and we use local butchers and suppliers where possible .
As our food is all prepared on site, we are happy to cater for any dietary requirements. There are always vegan and Gluten free options available on our menu.
Our chefs also produce a range of specials daily alongside our menus and we serve a home made pie of the week and crumble of the week.
The café can become very busy during lunchtime so we do recommend reserving a table wherever possible, although we do always leave half of our tables for walk in customers. Tables can be reserved contacting us.
The café is also available for private hire or large group bookings, we can create bespoke menus for your event or we have a selection of standard options shown here. If you would like to discuss your event please contact us.
Meet The Team
Samantha
Owner
Sam started the Lichfield Pantry in 2019, originally as a zero waste shop and taking over the café in August 2020. She lives in Lichfield with her family and works in both the kitchen and in the café.
Lynn
Kitchen Manager
Lynn joined us in May 2021 after leaving her role as kitchen manager of the Garrick theatre. She loves baking cakes and makes our delicious cheese scones.
Leanne
Cafe team member
Leanne joined us in August 2021, coming to work here with her mother in law, Lynn. She works in both the kitchen and café and in her spare times loves going on holiday with her husband and children.
Cherelle
Kitchen cook
Cherelle has worked in the kitchen since 2021, but has recently started working in the café too. Outside of work she likes spending time with her son and boyfriend.
Cara
Cafe Manager
Cara joined us in May 2021 and became café manager in March 2025. She enjoys going on holiday, particularly to America and spending time with her family.
Wendy

Wendy joined us in March 2022, she loves spending time with her grandson and her family.

Jo joined us I June 2021 working in the café. She enjoys going on holiday and spending time with her family.

Kitchen Staff/Cook
Deb joined us in September 2023 after closing her own catering business. She works in the kitchen and outside of work is kept busy with her lovely grandchildren.
